Megan Patsel is a Los Angeles based comedy writer and director known for her short film The Weird Cousin (2020) and stage musical “Trey the Play.”
In 2017 her first short Mary Beth’s Sex Tape premiered on NoBudge.com. Together with writing partner Mary Beth Barone, Patsel has written and directed over 20 web sketches and numerous stage shows including Barone’s one-woman piece “It Takes One” (2019).
Patsel is trained in Theatre Arts from Loyola Marymount University and in improv and sketch from the Upright Citizens Brigade in New York. Prior to 2020 she regularly performed standup and performance art at venues like the UCB, Union Hall, Caveat, the PIT, and more.
